FIND YOUR BEST MATCH
Youth coaches can instantly match their teams to comparably skilled opponents with
YTSI Score.
No coach wants to sign their team up for a 0-12 loss or a 12-0 win.
Your players count on you to arrange fair, competitive matches that build up their skills rather than tear down their confidence. Words like “Elite,” “Competition,” "Regional", and “Recreational” can mean too many things, often leading to mismatched games, one-sided results, and wasted opportunities for development. Coaches need an easy way to find teams, tournaments, and leagues that offer their players the most competitive matches.
YTSI is literally a game changer.
YTSI provides a simple, objective scoring system (0-100) based on team training, competition level, and playing style that makes it easy to accurately compare the skill level of teams in your age group locally or anywhere in the world. With your team's YTSI Score, you can confidently arrange fair friendlies, enter the right tournaments, and choose the best league /division.
That's why we say with YTSI, you can Find Your Best Match.
With YTSI you can...
Your team's YTSI Score makes it easier to find evenly matched opponents for friendlies and scrimmages, ensuring competitive and enjoyable games that foster skill development.

The only personal data we collect is your name and email address to send you your free YTSI Score.
All data is stored and protected on Google's cloud servers. We don't sell or share your personal data with third party vendors. The only data shared with the YTSI community is what's posted to the YTSI Index: Club and Team Name, Team Country, Team Year, and of course, your YTSI score.
I'm just a proud father and former assistant coach who realized how difficult it is for coaches to find competitively matched teams. I built YTSI as a labor of love for you and your players. There's no catch, just have fun!
Seasons change and so does your team's YTSI Score. You can update your score whenever you want, as often as you like. Updating your score is easy, just take the survey again using the same email and team name as before, and your new score will replace your old one. All YTSI Scores more than one year old are automatically removed from the index.
Hi, my name's Ian. I'm a proud father and former assistant coach who realized how difficult it is for coaches to find competitively matched teams. I built YTSI as a labor of love for you and your team.
We all use the expression "play your own game". The same advice applies to YTSI. There are thousands of teams out there with a similar YTSI Score as your team, and that's perfectly normal. Most teams get YTSI Scores between 25 and 65, with the majority in the 20's and 30's, and every one of those teams can have fun playing against fairly matched opponents. So don't worry about the ranking, focus on the best matches.
YTSI is not an official register or ranking authority, it's just a tool to find competitive matches. If you know enough about your team to answer the questions in the survey, there's no reason not to find out your team's YTSI Score. If you feel more comfortable asking permission from the coach first, then of course do that.
Not to worry, we have a simple process by which coaches can "claim ownership" of a club and have other records of their team removed from the Index. Just send us an email and we'll sort it out quickly.
